Q: What is the qualifying period for this promotion?
The qualifying period of this promotion is from 0600hrs on 1 June 2010 to 2359hrs on 30 November 2010.
Q: Are all purchases made in Changi Airport eligible for the lucky draw?
All purchases made at retail, F&B and service outlets, in both Transit or Public areas, (including Arrival Baggage Claim outlets) that meet the qualifying tiers are eligible for the lucky draw. Both Transit and Public areas have the same qualifying tiers. Only transactions made at money changing facilities, medical clinics, top-up card machines, post-on wheels, airline lounges and Crowne Plaza Hotel are excluded.
Q: Who are NOT eligible for this promotion?
The following persons shall not be eligible to participate in the lucky draw:
- Directors, employees and immediate family members of CAG, Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, CAG's appointed agencies, retail partners/shop tenants at Changi Airport and any other persons involved in organising, promoting and/or conducting the Lucky Draw. Immediate family members refer to spouses, children, parents, parents-in-law and siblings;
- Persons who are or become insane, deceased, insolvent or have legal proceedings of any nature instituted against them;
- Persons below the age of 18 as of 1 June 2010;
- Any other person deemed ineligible at the sole discretion of CAG.
Q: If I use both my Visa and Changi Rewards card in the same transaction, will I get the additional chances for usage of both cards?
No, you will only be entitled to 1 set of additional chance(s). For eg, if you spend $60 in a single receipt, and use both your Visa and Changi Rewards card, you will only be entitled to 1+1 chances.
Q: If I use vouchers or receive discounts on my purchased items, will I still be eligible to participate in the lucky draw?
Changi Dollar Vouchers can be used towards meeting the respective minimum spending tiers. However, this is not applicable to all other vouchers and promotional discounts.
Shoppers who use other vouchers or discounts are still eligible to participate in the lucky draw as long as the amount they pay after use of the vouchers or discounts meets the respective minimum spending tiers. E.g If a $5 store voucher is used to purchase a $70 item, the customer needs to pay $65 and will thus be entitled to one lucky draw chance.

Q: How will the draws be conducted? What are the safeguards to ensure that the draws are fairly conducted?
The lucky draw coupons will be collected daily and compiled on a per day basis. For each draw, 1 officer will be appointed to pick the winner in the presence of 2 witnesses. CAG Internal Audit unit will be informed of the draw dates and invited to witness the draws.

- ii. Monthly draw – The entries for the month will be compiled. During the draw, 1 monthly winner will be picked as the finalist for the Grand draw. The monthly draw will be conducted on the 2nd Wednesday of the following month.
- iii. Grand Draw - The 6 monthly finalists will be invited to Singapore for the grand draw event held in January 2011.
Q: Will the daily winners still stand a chance to become the monthly finalists?
Yes, if they had submitted more than one chance in the Draw.
Q: So if I make a purchase in June, and I did not hear from CAG by the end of July, does that mean all my chances submitted in June are forfeited? Or will they be carried over to July?
At the close of every month, we will conduct a monthly draw to determine the Grand Draw finalist for that month. After which the pool of names for the past month will be rendered invalid, and a new pool of names will be collected for the new month for all transactions recorded in that month.
Q: How will the winners be notified?
All winners will be notified in writing by email and/or ordinary post based on the addresses provided in the lucky draw forms. They must respond in writing by email or ordinary post that they accept the prize and provide their bank details, within two weeks from the date of the email/letter.

The six finalists will gather at Changi Airport for an exciting Grand Draw in Jan 2011. More details of the Grand Draw will be disclosed at a later stage.
