"Tiger Airways is delighted to be the first international carrier to operate scheduled flights at the new Udon Thani "International" Airport. It is a great honour to be the first international carrier to serve Udon Thani and the people in North East Thailand as well as provide greater access to Vientiane and Laos. The establishment of this flight service is a reflection of the strong commitment of the local government in supporting the growth of the tourism industry and bringing greater prosperity to the populace in the region. We feel privileged to have such strong partners in this program and Tiger Airways is committed to the long term success of this route," said Tiger Airways CEO, Tony Davis*. Udon Thani, located close to Vientiane in Laos, is Tiger Airways’ 6th destination in Thailand. The airline also operates between Singapore and Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Hat Yai, Krabi and Phuket.
