Show time at Changi Airport!
SINGAPORE, 24 May 2010 – Taiwanese celebrity Show Luo (罗志祥) turned up at Changi Airport this morning to meet and greet some 100 lucky fans. The session, at the Changi Aviation Gallery at Terminal 2, was specially organised by Changi Airport Group(CAG) for members of its Changi Rewards programme.
The 50 Changi Rewards members, who each brought along a companion, were among the 400 who applied for exclusive passes. They enjoyed the opportunity to interact with Show and take photographs of him. In Singapore for his sold-out 3D World Live Tour concert at the Indoor Stadium over the weekend, Show impressed his fans at Changi Airport with his impeccable charm and friendly manner. Five lucky fans also won special gift packs and had the rare chance to pose with Show in a group photo.
"It's great to see my fans here today – I always look forward to any opportunity to interact closely with them. This has been a fruitful trip and I've enjoyed my concert here tremendously. I have to give my fans and audiences in Singapore full marks for their infectious enthusiasm and passion! I'll definitely miss Singapore and hope to visit again very soon," Show commented during his question-and-answer session onstage.
The rare opportunity to catch Show Luo in-person is the latest in Changi Airport's celebrity meet-and-greet sessions. The first airport in the world to organise such fan meetings, Changi seeks to continually enhance the Changi experience and reward its patrons. Previous celebrity sessions featured Lady Gaga, Air Supply, Jay Chou, Bollywood superstars such as Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan and top golfers Annika Sorenstam and Lorena Ochoa.
Show Luo – affectionately known as Piglet (小猪) to his fans – is a multi-talented singer, host, dancer and actor who enjoys immense popularity in the region. Renowned as Asia's dancing king, Show has delivered many chart-topping albums, including the latest 2010 release Luo Sheng Men (罗生門), his seventh solo album. Show has also won numerous awards since his debut in 2003, including the prestigious Most Popular Male Artist title at Taiwan's Golden Melody Awards in 2007.
