'Transforming Landscapes, Improving Lives' Exhibition
On public display for the first time are originals of some of the first products manufactured in Singapore, as well as reproductions of documents that give valuable insights to how Singapore was viewed by international companies back in the 1960s. These include the original Seiko stopwatch produced in 1976 and first semiconductor wafer fabricated by ST Microelectronics.
To highlight Singapore’s continuity to transform the lives of future generations, visitors will see a collage of digital media productions undertaken in Singapore by international companies such as Koei, Lucasfilm and Ubisoft. This section also provides visitors with the opportunity to participate in the creation of a unique exhibit – visitors are invited to share their visions and hopes for the Singapore of the future, in an art installation that will change and evolve with every visitor’s contribution over the course of the exhibition.
