At the recent Air Cargo Europe (ACE) 2025 held from 2 - 5 June, Changi Airport reinforced its position as a trusted and resilient hub for global supply chains. The event welcomed over 2,700 exhibitors from 73 countries to discuss emerging trends and challenges in the air cargo industry. Changi Airport Group (CAG), co-exhibited with our Singapore air cargo partners, ACS Freight Services, Alliance 21, dnata Singapore, Empire Bison, SATS, and Singapore Airlines – to showcase the strategic capabilities of the Changi air cargo hub. Together, we engaged global stakeholders over local delights, such as kaya toast and Nanyang coffee, exchanging views on trade tensions and supply chain dynamics.
A highlight was the panel, “Singapore: Your Trusted Partner for Resilient and High-Performing Global Supply Chains,” hosted by Enterprise Singapore. Ms. Jaisey Yip, Vice President of CAG’s Cargo Business Division joined fellow Singapore industry leaders: Mr. Justin Goh, Deputy Director of Supply Chain at Enterprise Singapore; Mr. Kelvin Tan, Global Head of Sales at PSA BDP; and Mr. Law Chung Ming, CEO of the Singapore Logistics Association. The discussion highlighted Singapore’s strategic initiatives towards supporting global companies in achieving supply chain resilience. Speakers highlighted infrastructure developments like Tuas Megaport and Changi East Industrial Zone (CEIZ). Other notable points included PSA’s plan to expand handling capacity from 40 million TEU handling by the 2040s, the focus on cold chain logistics by the Singapore Logistics Association (SLA) members, and Changi’s role in enhancing special cargo handling and future cargo masterplans to improve speed, visibility, manpower productivity and sustainability.

Air Cargo Innovation Award at 2025 World Air Cargo Awards
We are pleased to announce that our community’s TDSB use case, has won the Air Cargo Innovation Award at the 2025 World Air Cargo Awards, organised by Air Cargo Week. This award celebrates the successful implementation of TDSB at our community, now the world’s largest cargo community system in optimising landside operations with more than 330 forwarders and trucking companies onboarded.
Changi Airport was also shortlisted as a finalist in two categories at the World Air Cargo Awards 2025: Airport of the Year – Major Cargo Hub and the Air Cargo Industry Pharmaceutical Award. The nominations recognise Changi’s continued commitment to service excellence, cargo connectivity, and high standards in handling pharmaceutical shipments.
Truck Dock Slot Booking (TDSB) system is a community collaboration initiative to improve cargo lodgement and collection efficiency at the cargo terminals. The initiative is led by Changi’s two ground handlers – dnata and SATS, Cargo Community Network and Nallian, and supported by Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), CAG, Enterprise Singapore, Workforce Singapore and Singapore Aircargo Agents Association @ Singapore (SAAA@SG). TDSB was launched in August 2024 for export lodgement at the ground handlers’ airfreight terminals.
CAG would like to thank our Changi air cargo community, including our ground handlers and industry partners for working closely with us on this process transformation. Your support has been instrumental to the successful implementation of this project!
