HOW TO USE THIS FEATURE

Step 1: Scan Your Bag Tag on iChangi app

Simply scan or enter bag tag number into the Baggage Tracker using the iChangi app. You can find your bag tag number on baggage sticker issued at point of checking in.

Step 2: Start Tracking Your Check-in Bags!

Turn on your notifications and iChangi app will keep you updated on the journey of your bag(s)! Enjoy a worry-free trip as we keep you updated on your baggage status.

Passengers departing from Changi Airport will be able to track your bags upon check-in to the point of loading. ​

Passengers arriving at Changi Airport will be able to track your bags from check-in at your origin country, to the point of delivery to the baggage belt at Changi Airport. 

*Arrival tracking not available at T1 and T4 (coming your way soon!). 

Passengers transferring at Changi Airport will be able to track your bags from check-in, to its arrival in Changi Airport and to the point of loading for departure if both origin and destination flights are participating airlines.

The baggage tracker is a trial service by Changi Airport Group (CAG) to provide departing, arriving and transferring passengers with status updates of their bags as they travel through Changi Airport.

Upon check-in, you should have received a boarding pass and a bag tag stub which has a barcode containing your bag tag number. You may scan the barcode or type in the number into the iChangi baggage tracker.

Bag tag numbers are between 8 and 12 characters. E.g. 10000123456, AB123456, CD98765432.

Your airline(s) may not be participating in the trial with us, but we are continually working with the airlines operating at Changi Airport to bring as many airlines onboard as possible. If you believe that this is an error, please email enquiry@changiairport.com, or fill up the survey link found at the bottom of your bag tracker card.

Most checked-in bags can be tracked by the tracker except for odd-sized bags, gate checked bags, limited release tagged bags. For transfer baggage, short connections (e.g. due to delayed inbound flights) and One-Stop Security transfer flights; these may not be trackable as your bags may be managed directly by the airlines that you are travelling on.

The information used by your airline and our tracker would be similar. Your airline may provide additional information only available to them, while our tracker may have more information displayed that is integrated with our airport facilities.

The iChangi Baggage Tracker utilises a combination of information provided by the airline you travel on and Changi Airport’s baggage system to provide you with a journey of your bags through Changi Airport.

We are working on upgrading our arrival baggage tracking systems in T1 and T4 and hope to be able to bring you this service soon. Please keep a lookout for more updates.

The “loaded” status refers to your checked-in bags being placed into containers / trolleys bound for your departing aircraft.

Bags may be loaded at any time before the flight departs and notifications may be delayed. In the event you are unable to find your bag on the arrival belt, please proceed to the Lost & Found counter for more information and assistance.

If you purchased your tickets to your final destination separately, you may need to collect your bags at the arrival belt and check-in again for your next flight at the relevant airline counter. Please check at your transfer counter to confirm that your bags have been checked in to the final destination.

For arrival passengers at Changi Airport, please proceed to the arrival claim belt to see if your bag has arrived. If the last bag notification is displayed and your bags have not arrived, please proceed to the Lost & Found counters for further assistance.

No, baggage tracking is currently only available via the iChangi app.
