TERMS AND CONDITIONS GOVERNING THE CHANGI PAY EXCLUSIVE PROMOTION FROM 19 SEPTEMBER – 31 DECEMBER 2023 (“PROMOTION”)

1.       The Promotion

1.1.   The Promotion is organized by Changi Airport Group (Singapore) Pte Ltd (“CAG”). The Promotion will take place from 19 September 2023 to 31 December 2023 (both dates inclusive), or while stocks last, whichever is earlier, or such other period(s) as may be determined by CAG in its absolute discretion (“Promotion Period”).

 

1.2.   These Terms and Conditions govern the Promotion. Participation in the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

 

2.       Eligibility for the following campaigns

2.1.   Top-up SGD50 and above Promotion – SGD10 Changi Pay e-Voucher and SGD30 iShopChangi Promo code campaign upon topping up of S$50 and above into your Changi Pay linked Liquid Account via PayNow in the form of local currency, SGD (“Qualifying Top up New Customer”) during the Promotion Period. This is only for one-time (1-time) top up of SGD50 and above, multiple top ups adding to SGD50 and above are not eligible for participation.

 

2.2. The Qualifying New Customer will receive one (1) set of reward that comprises of:

o   One (1) SGD10 Changi Pay e-Voucher with no minimum spending required, which will be credited into User’s Changi Pay digital wallet, and it can be used on purchases at participating outlets at Changi Airport Terminals (both Transit and Public area), Jewel Changi Airport and iShopChangi.com with Changi Pay as a payment method.

o   One (1) SGD30 iShopChangi Promo code, which will be issued via email and is only applicable for one (1) transaction on iShopChangi.com with Changi Pay as a payment method. 

 

2.3.   You will qualify for the Make 3 transactions in China Promotion campaign if you are a Changi Pay user who have performed at least 3 transactions (each transaction being a minimum of RMB100) using Changi Pay in China via Alipay QR, in the form of foreign currency, RMB during the Promotion Period (“Qualifying China Promotion Customer”). All payment amounts will be deducted from Liquid Account balance within Changi Pay and must be made in China by scanning Alipay QR code with Changi Pay to be qualified for the promotion. 

 

2.4.   The Qualifying China Promotion Customer will receive one (1) set of reward (capped at two (2) sets of incentives) that comprises of:

o   One (1) SGD5 Changi Pay e-Voucher with no minimum spending required, which will be credited into qualifying China Promotion customer’s Changi Pay digital wallet, and it can be used on purchases at participating outlets at Changi Airport Terminals (both Transit and Public area), Jewel Changi Airport and iShopChangi.com with Changi Pay as the payment method. 

o   One (1) SGD5 Lotte exclusive e-Voucher with no minimum spending required, which will be credited into qualifying China Promotion customer’s Changi Pay digital wallet, together with the SGD5 Changi Pay e-Voucher and it can be used on purchases at Lotte Duty Free outlets in Changi Airport Terminals with Changi Pay as the payment method.

 

2.5.   You will qualify for the Spend RMB888 and above in China Promotion campaign if you are a Changi Pay user who have transacted minimally RMB 888, using Changi Pay in China via Alipay QR in the form of foreign currency, RMB (“Qualifying Tier-up China Promotion Customer”) during the Promotion Period. All payment amounts will be deducted from Liquid Account balance within Changi Pay and must be made in China by scanning Alipay QR code with Changi Pay to be qualified for the promotion. Multiple transactions adding up to RMB 888 and above will still be eligible for participation.

 

2.6.   The Qualifying Tier-up China Promotion Customer will receive one (1) set of reward (capped at one (1) sets of incentives) that comprises of (collectively referred to as “Tier-up China Promotion e-Vouchers”):

o   One (1) SGD5 Fragrance exclusive e-Voucher with no minimum spending required, which will be credited into qualifying tier-up China Promotion customer’s Changi Pay digital wallet, and it can be used on purchases at Fragrance outlets at Changi Airport Terminals (both Transit and Public area) with Changi Pay as the payment method.

o   One (1) SGD5 The Cocoa Trees exclusive e-Voucher with no minimum spending required, which will be credited into qualifying tier-up China Promotion Customer’s Changi Pay digital wallet together with the SGD5 Fragrance exclusive e-Voucher, and it can be used on purchases at The Cocoa Trees outlets in Changi Airport Terminals (both Transit and Public area) with Changi Pay as the payment method.

 

2.7.   All incentives will be credited into the Changi Pay e-wallet, except for SGD30 iShopChangi Promo Code that will be issued via email.

2.8.   The remaining payment amount after discount applied will be deducted from the credit/debit card selected by the user during payment in Changi Pay. Liquid Account Balance is not available for payment at Changi Airport Terminals (both Transit and Public area), Jewel Changi Airport and iShopChangi.com.

2.9.   Qualifying New Customers and Qualifying China Promotion Customers are referred to as “Qualifying Promotion Customers”. 

2.10.   Should the Qualifying Promotion Customers fulfil all Top up SGD50 and above Promotion, Make 3 transactions in China Promotion and Spend RMB888 and above in China Promotion, you will receive one (1) notification of your entitlement to receive the qualifying incentives via email, or any other suitable means as CAG may deem fit, by SGT 1800hours on every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month. 

 

3.       Top-up SGD50 and above Promotion – SGD10 Changi Pay e-Voucher Campaign

3.1.   Qualifying Top up New Customers are eligible to receive an e-Voucher of SGD10 off with no minimum spend (“SGD10 Changi Pay e-Voucher”), which can be used on purchases at participating outlets at Changi Airport Terminals (both Transit and Public area, excluding Terminal 2 canteen), Jewel Changi Airport and iShopChangi.com with Changi Pay as a payment method.

 

3.2.   During the Promotion Period, Qualifying Top-up New Customers will receive the SGD10 Changi Pay e-Voucher in their Changi Pay digital wallet by SGT 1800hrs on every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month starting from 29 September 2023. To receive the e-Voucher by the respective Fridays, Qualifying Top up New Customers will need to perform a top-up of SGD50 and above into your Changi Pay linked Liquid Account by Tuesday, SGT 2359hrs in the same week. Issuance of e-Voucher will begin on 29 September 2023 and last issuance on 5 January 2024.

 

3.3.   Redemption is limited to the first 3,000 Qualifying top up new customers, and a total of 3,000 sets of SGD10 Changi Pay e-Vouchers to be given away on a first-come-first-served basis. Each Qualifying Top-up New Customers may receive a maximum of one (1) SGD10 Changi Pay e-Voucher during the Promotion.

 

3.4.   The SGD10 Changi Pay e-Voucher can only be used on Changi Airport Terminals (both Transit and Public area, excluding Terminal 2 staff canteen), Jewel Changi Airport and iShopChangi.com with no minimum spend required and it must be applied by the user in Changi Pay before confirming the payment.

 

3.5.   The remaining payment amount after discount applied will be deducted from the credit/debit card selected by the user during payment in Changi Pay. Liquid Account Balance is not available for payment at Changi Airport Terminals (both Transit and Public area), Jewel Changi Airport and iShopChangi.com.

 

3.6.   The SGD10 Changi Pay e-Voucher cannot be used after the purchase is completed. Should there be any unutilized discount balance left, the amount cannot be used or carried forward to the subsequent purchase.

 

3.7.   The SGD10 Changi Pay e-Voucher must be utilized by 31 March 2024. No extension, refund, or replacement shall be permitted or entertained.

 

3.8.   The SGD10 Changi Pay e-Voucher is not valid in conjunction with any other privileges, promotions, or discount programs.

 

3.9.   The SGD10 Changi Pay e-Voucher (or any part thereof, including any unutilized portion) is strictly non-refundable, non-transferable, and not exchangeable for cash, credit, or other items. The SGD10 Changi Pay e-Voucher is subjected to such further terms and conditions as may be stipulated on the e-Voucher.

 

4.       Top-up SGD50 and above Promotion – SGD30 iShopChangi Promo Code Campaign

4.1.   Qualifying Top-up New Customers are eligible to receive a SGD30 off Promo Code for use on iShopChangi.com. For existing iShopChangi.com customers, there will be a minimum spending of SGD120 required. For new to iShopChangi.com customers, there is no minimum spending required.

 

4.2.   Existing iShopChangi.com customers refer to customers who have performed at least one transaction on iShopChangi.com. New to iShopChangi.com customers refer to customers who have not made a prior purchase on iShopChangi.com.

 

4.3.   During the Promotion Period, Qualifying Top up New Customers will receive an email from CAG of the Promo Code by SGT 1800hrs on every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month starting from 17 November 2023. To receive the Promo Code by the respective Fridays, Qualifying Top up New Customers will need to perform a top-up of SGD50 and above into your Changi Pay linked Liquid Account by Tuesday SGT 2359hrs in the same week. Issuance will begin on 17 November 2023 and last issuance on 5 January 2024.

 

4.4.   Each Qualifying Top Up New Customer may receive a maximum of one (1) SGD30 iShopChangi Promo Code during the Promotion. The iShopChangi Promo Code is available to the first 3,000 eligible customers on a first-come-first-served basis.

 

4.5.   The SGD30 iShopChangi Promo Code is limited to one (1) time use of promo code per qualifying top up new customer with Changi Pay and it must be applied before payment checkout on iShopChangi.com. The SGD30 iShopChangi promo code is considered redeemed if the qualified user cancels the order on iShopChangi.com.

 

4.6.   The SGD30 iShopChangi Promo Code cannot be used after the purchase is completed. Should there be any unutilized discount balance left, the amount cannot be used or carried forward to the subsequent purchase.

 

4.7.   The remaining payment amount after discount applied will be deducted from the credit/debit card selected by the user during payment in Changi Pay. Liquid Account Balance is not available for payment on iShopChangi.com.

 

4.8.   For existing iShopChangi customers, the SGD30 promo code is not valid for all products retailed under Chanel, Crystal Tomato, Dior, 1855 The Bottle Shop, Airport Pharmacy, Bedding Affairs, Bluefeel, Chow Tai Fook, Dibea, Evorie, Fupi, Hegen, Houze, Levante, Luxury Mattress Gallery, Park & Fly, Sift & Pick, TakeASeatsg, The Cocoa Trees, Timeless Gift, TLS Asia, Tong Garden, Valencia: and selected products from Authorized Supplier - 2044, 2143, Beste (S) Pte Ltd, William Grant & Sons. 4.9.   SGD30 iShopChangi Promo Code must be utilized by 31 January 2024. No extension, refund, replacement, or exchange shall be permitted or entertained.

 

4.10.   SGD30 iShopChangi Promo Code is not valid in conjunction with any other privileges, promotions, or discount programs. The SGD30 iShopChangi Promo Code (or any part thereof, including any unutilized portion) is strictly non-refundable, non-transferable, and not exchangeable for cash, credit, or other items.

 

4.11.   Should the Qualifying Top Up New Customer be qualified for Top-up SGD50 and above Promotion, he/she will receive one (1) notification of his/her entitlement to receive the qualifying rewards via email, or any other suitable means as CAG may deem fit, by SGT 1800hours on every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month.

4.12.   Should the Qualifying Top Up New Customer fulfil either two or all Promotions consisting of Top-up SGD50 and above Promotion, Make 3 transactions in China Promotion and Spend RMB888 and above in China Promotion, he/she will receive one (1) notification of his/her entitlement to receive the qualifying rewards via email, or any other suitable means as CAG may deem fit, by SGT 1800hours on every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month.

 

5.       Make 3 transactions in China Promotion Campaign (Make 3 transactions of minimum 100 Yuan and above each) – SGD10 worth of e-Vouchers.

5.1.   Qualifying China Promotion Customers are eligible to receive one (1) set of vouchers that comprises of one (1) SGD5 Changi Pay e-Voucher and one (1) SGD5 Lotte Duty Free e-Voucher (collectively referred to as, “China Promotion e-Vouchers”).

5.2.   During the Promotion Period, Qualifying China Promotion Customers will receive the set(s) of China Promotion e-Vouchers in their Changi Pay account by SGT 1800hours on every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month starting from 17 November 2023. To receive the e-Vouchers by the respective Fridays, Qualifying China Promotion Customers must complete their third (3rd) transaction by Tuesday SGT 2359hrs in the same week. Issuance of China Promotion e-Vouchers will begin on 29 September 2023 and last issuance on 5 January 2024.

5.3.   There are a total of 3,000 sets of China Promotion e-Vouchers to be given away on a first-come-first-served basis. Each Qualifying China Promotion Customer may receive a maximum of two (2) sets of China Promotion e-Vouchers during the Promotion Period.

5.4.   SGD5 Changi Pay e-Voucher can be used on purchases at participating outlets at Changi Airport Terminals (both Transit and Public area), Jewel Changi Airport and on iShopChangi.com. No minimum spending is required.

5.5.   SGD5 Lotte Duty Free e-Voucher can be used only on purchases from Changi Airport Terminals – Lotte Duty Free outlets (Transit only), and it must be applied by the user in the user’s own Changi Pay account while making payment as a voucher in Changi Pay. No minimum spending is required.

5.6.   China Promotion e-Vouchers are not applicable for the purchase of tobacco products (including without limitation cigarettes, cigars or any other forms of tobacco, or any tobacco derivative or substitute) at Lotte Duty Free outlets in Changi Airport Terminals.

5.7.   SGD5 Changi Pay e-Voucher and SGD5 Lotte exclusive e-Voucher must be applied by the Qualifying China Promotion Customer in Changi Pay before confirming the payment. It cannot be used after the purchase is completed. Should there be any unutilized discount balance left, the amount cannot be used or carried forward to the subsequent purchase.

5.8.   The remaining payment amount after SGD5 Changi Pay e-Voucher and/or SGD5 Lotte exclusive e-Voucher applied will be deducted from the credit/debit card selected by the user during payment in Changi Pay. Liquid Account Balance is not available for payment in Changi Airport Terminals (both Transit and Public area), Jewel Changi Airport and iShopChangi.com.

5.9.   The China Promotion e-Vouchers must be utilized by 31 March 2024. No extension, refund, or replacement shall be permitted or entertained. It is limited to one (1) e-Voucher applied per transaction. The e-Vouchers are not stackable or in conjunction with any other promotions.

5.10.   The China Promotion e-Vouchers are strictly non-refundable, non-transferable, and not exchangeable for cash, credit or other items and are subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant China Promotion e-Vouchers.

5.11.   Both SGD5 Changi Pay e-Voucher and SGD5 Lotte exclusive e-Voucher (or any part thereof, including any unutilized portion) are strictly non-refundable, non-transferable, and not exchangeable for cash, credit, or other items. It is subjected to such further terms and conditions as may be stipulated on the e-Voucher.

5.12.   Should the Qualifying China Promotion Customer be qualified for Make 3 transactions in China Promotion, he/she will receive one (1) notification of his/her entitlement to receive the qualifying rewards via email, or any other suitable means as CAG may deem fit, by SGT 1800hours on every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month.

5.13.   Should the Qualifying Top Up New Customer fulfil either two or all Promotions consisting of Top-up SGD50 and above Promotion, Make 3 transactions in China Promotion and Spend RMB888 and above in China Promotion, he/she will receive one (1) notification of his/her entitlement to receive the qualifying rewards via email, or any other suitable means as CAG may deem fit, by SGT 1800hours on every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month.

 

6.       Spend RMB888 and above in China Promotion Campaign - SGD10 worth of e-Vouchers.

6.1.   The Promotion will take place from 4 November 2023 to 31 December 2023 (both dates inclusive) or while redemption last, whichever is earlier, or such other period(s) as may be determined by Changi Airport Group in its absolute discretion (“Spending in China Promotion Period”).

6.2.   Qualifying Tier-up China Promotion Customer are eligible to receive one (1) set of vouchers comprising of one (1) SGD5 Fragrance exclusive e-Voucher and one (1) SGD5 The Cocoa Tree exclusive e-Voucher (collectively referred to as, “Tier-up China Promotion e-Vouchers”).

6.3.   During the Spending in China Promotion period, Qualifying Tier-up China Promotion Customer will receive one (1) set of Tier-up China Promotion e-Vouchers in their Changi Pay account  by SGT 1800hours on every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month starting from 17 November 2023. To receive the set of Tier-up China Promotion e-Vouchers by the respective Fridays, Qualifying Tier-up China Promotion Customers will need to spend an accumulative of RMB888 and above with Changi Pay in China by Tuesday SGT 2359hrs in the same week. Issuance of Tier-up China Promotion e-Vouchers will begin on 17 November 2023 and last issuance on 5 January 2024.

6.4.   Redemption is limited to the first 1,000 qualifying Tier-up China Promotion customers, and a total of 1,000 sets of Tier-up China Promotion e-Vouchers to be given away on a first-come-first-served basis. Each Qualifying Tier-up China Promotion Customer may receive a maximum of one (1) set of Tier-up China Promotion e-Vouchers during the Spending in China Promotion Period.

6.5.   The SGD5 Fragrance e-Voucher can be used only on purchases from Changi Airport Terminals (both Transit and Public) – Fragrance outlets, and it must be applied by the user in the user’s own Changi Pay account while making payment as a voucher in Changi Pay. No minimum spending is required.

6.6.   The SGD5 The Cocoa Trees e-Voucher can be used only on purchases from Changi Airport Terminals (both Transit and Public) – The Cocoa Trees outlets, and it must be applied by the user in the user’s own Changi Pay account while making payment as a voucher in Changi Pay. No minimum spending is required.

6.7.   SGD5 Fragrance exclusive e-Voucher and SGD5 The Cocoa Trees exclusive e-Voucher must be applied by the Qualifying Tier-up China Promotion Customer in Changi Pay before confirming the payment. It cannot be used after the purchase is completed. Should there be any unutilized discount balance left, the amount cannot be used or carried forward to the subsequent purchase.

6.8.   The remaining payment amount after discount will be deducted from the credit/debit card selected by the user during payment in Changi Pay. Liquid Account Balance is not available for payment at participating outlets at Changi Airport Terminals (both Transit and Public area).

6.9.   The Tier-up China Promotion e-Vouchers must be utilized by 31 March 2024. No extension, refund, or replacement shall be permitted or entertained. It is limited to one (1) e-Voucher applied per transaction. The e-Vouchers are not stackable or in conjunction with any other promotions.

6.10.   Both SGD5 Fragrance exclusive e-Voucher and SGD5 The Cocoa Trees exclusive e-Voucher (or any part thereof, including any unutilized portion) is strictly non-refundable, non-transferable, and not exchangeable for cash, credit, or other items. It is subjected to such further terms and conditions as may be stipulated on the relevant Tier-up China Promotion e-Vouchers.

6.11.   Should the Qualifying Tier-up China Promotion Customers be qualified for ‘Spend RMB 888 and above in China Promotion’, he/she will receive one (1) notification of his/her entitlement to receive the qualifying rewards via email, or any other suitable means as CAG may deem fit, by SGT 1800hours on every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month.

6.12.   Should the Qualifying Top Up New Customer fulfil either two or all Promotions consisting of Top-up SGD50 and above Promotion, Make 3 transactions in China Promotion and Spend RMB888 and above in China Promotion, he/she will receive one (1) notification of his/her entitlement to receive the qualifying rewards via email, or any other suitable means as CAG may deem fit, by SGT 1800hours on every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month.

 

7.       Personal Data

7.1.   The conduct and administration of the Promotion requires the processing of a Qualifying Promotion Customer’s personal data, including but not limited to that Qualifying Promotion Customer’s name and Changi Rewards membership ID. By participating in the Promotion, (a) each Qualifying Promotion Customer agrees that CAG may use his personal data that he has provided to CAG or that CAG holds about him, and disclose same to third party service providers, for the purposes of conducting and administering the Promotion, including but not limited to the issuing and redemption of the Promotion Vouchers (as defined below), and any other relevant administrative matters before, during and after the Promotion (the “Relevant Purposes”); and (b) each Qualifying Promotion Customer consents to CAG’s collection, use, disclosure, storage and other processing of the personal data he has provided to CAG or that CAG holds about him, in accordance with all applicable privacy laws and CAG’s Privacy Policy (https://www.changiairport.com/en/privacy-policy.html). If that Qualifying Promotion Customer provides information about any individual other than himself, that Qualifying Promotion Customer represents and warrants that he has valid authority and consent from the other individual(s) to do so, and he has ensured that the other individual(s) understands how such information will be used. That Qualifying Promotion Customer also represents and warrants that the information he provides is complete and accurate.

 

8.      General

8.1.   All payment services relating to the use of Changi Pay are provided by Liquid Group Pte Ltd (“Liquid”). Changi Airport Group (Singapore) Pte Ltd is marketing the aforesaid payment services on behalf of Liquid. Liquid is the holder of a Major Payment Institution licence for account issuance, domestic money transfer, cross-border money transfer, merchant acquisition and e-money issuance under the Payment Services Act.

8.2.   The eligibility of any individual to participate in the Promotion and/or receive the e-Vouchers and promo codes referred to in Clauses 3, 4, 5 above (“Promotion Vouchers”) shall be determined at the absolute discretion of Changi Airport Group.

8.3.   If any individual is subsequently discovered to be ineligible to participate in the Promotion or to receive the Promotion Vouchers, CAG reserves the right at any time at its absolute discretion and without giving any reason or notice to withdraw, claw-back, cancel and/or invalidate any awarded Promotion Vouchers without liability to any party. An individual whose Promotion Vouchers was withdrawn, clawed back, cancelled or invalidated is not entitled to any payment or compensation whatsoever in respect of such withdrawal, claw-back, cancellation or invalidation.

8.4.   To the fullest extent permitted by law, CAG, its employees and its authorised agents (collectively, “Indemnified Parties”) shall not be liable to any participant for any injury, damage, loss, compensation, liability, cost or expense suffered or incurred by the participant arising out of or in connection with the Promotion.

8.5.   By participating in this Promotion, each participant agree to indemnify and hold the Indemnified Parties harmless from and against all claims, damage, liabilities, damages, losses, costs and expenses suffered or incurred by the Indemnified Parties in relation to the Promotion.

8.6.   CAG reserves the right at its absolute discretion to modify, suspend or terminate the Promotion anytime, or to vary these Promotion T&Cs from time to time, without prior notice. CAG may notify such changes by publishing the revised Promotion T&Cs at (https://www.changiairport.com/en/shop/changipay/overseas-payment/alipaylaunch-promocard-tncs.html) or by such other means of communication as CAG may determine in its absolute discretion from time to time. Any changes in these Promotion T&CS shall be effective from the date of publishing the revised Promotion T&Cs in the foregoing manner. Participants shall not be entitled to any damages or compensation whatsoever or howsoever arising as a result of such modification or cancellation of the Promotion, or such variation of the Promotion T&Cs.

8.7.   CAG’s decision on all matters relating to the Promotion shall be final and binding on all participants. No correspondence or appeal shall be entertained by CAG. In the event of any inconsistency between these Promotion T&Cs and any brochure, marketing or promotional material relating to the Promotion, these Promotion T&Cs shall prevail.

8.8.   These Promotion T&Cs shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and each participant agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts in the determination of any matter or dispute arising in connection with the Promotion and/or the Promotion T&Cs .

8.9.   The Promotion T&Cs are not intended to confer rights to any third party under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap. 53B) to enforce any provision of the Promotion T&Cs.
