Preparing for Changi App Update


Thank you for using the iChangi app. ​

We are upgrading the app to bring you an enhanced experience! 

Prepare to update your app with the following steps:

  1. Enable automatic app updates on your device settings or look out for reminders to upgrade your app via our in-app advisories.

  2. Ensure that your device meets the minimum requirements for app updates. (Apple iOS 12/Android 9 or later).

  3. Log in to your Changi Account on the new Changi App with your existing credentials. If required, please reset your password.

If you are encountering issues loading the new Changi App, please try performing these troubleshooting steps: 

  • Deleting the Changi App and reinstalling it again.
  •  Ensure that your device meets the minimum requirements for app updates. (Apple iOS 12/Android 9 or later).

You are strongly encouraged to update your app to the new Changi App to enjoy a fully optimised app experience when you transact, save flights, and more.

The update also ensures compatibility with future app releases that may include feature enhancements and bug fixes to ensure that you enjoy the best experience with our app.

The refreshed Changi App has a new app interface that is user-centric and easy to navigate. With the Changi App, you can:   

  • Plan a fuss-free trip with useful flight features, baggage tracker and other convenient travel services;
  • Enjoy GST-absorbed shopping, redeem perks, and indulge in a seamless payment experience with Changi Pay; and
  • Skip the queues on-ground as you book and redeem exclusive events, attractions, and premiums in-app.

Once the Changi App update has been released, you will only be able to use the existing iChangi App for 48 hours. You are highly encouraged to update your app as soon as possible, to ensure that you can continue to use our app services without disruption.

You are strongly encouraged to update to the new Changi App upon its release, to ensure that you can continue to use our app services without disruption.  

Once the iChangi App has been decommissioned, you will not be able to access its app features until you update to the new Changi App.

To safeguard the security of your Changi Account, you will be automatically logged out and are required to log in again after once you have upgraded to the new Changi App.

The Changi Account is a digital account service that enables you to connect and transact on all of Changi Airport’s digital portals (including Changi Rewards and iShopChangi) using the same username and password. 

Your Changi Rewards membership should not be affected. All details related to your membership, such as account details, membership tier, Changi Rewards points and perks, should remain unchanged. Should you notice any discrepancy in your Changi Rewards details, please contact us at enquiry@changiairport.com.

It may take some time for all users to receive the app updates. Do also ensure that your internet connection is strong and stable.

For your convenience, you may also consider enabling auto app updates via your mobile device's settings, so that the updates can be automatically pushed to your device.
