A seamless digital experience through One Changi ID

One login ID for all of Changi's digital platforms

As the world becomes increasingly digital, Changi Airport Group (CAG) has embarked on a digital transformation journey as it strives to improve customer experience. Currently, some of its key digital platforms include iShopChangi (an online shopping portal), iChangi mobile app, the Changi Rewards loyalty card programme, as well as the Changi Airport website. While the various platforms aptly address the different needs of Changi’s customers across multiple platforms, there is a real challenge – different login IDs are required for each of these platforms.

A team spearheaded by the Corporate Information & Technology and Corporate & Marketing Communications divisions came up with a solution to introduce a single login ID across the key digital platforms – One Changi ID. With this single login ID, customers can now connect and transact on Changi Airport’s digital platforms conveniently, with just one username and password.

With the convenience of a single account, customers can now view their Changi Rewards loyalty points and iShopchangi purchase history on the same dashboard on the Changi Airport website and iChangi mobile app. For Changi Reward members using the iChangi app, they can enjoy the convenience of the Changi Rewards e-Card as well.

For CAG, the benefit is also significant. The single login ID enables a consolidated 360-degree view of the customer, which was not possible previously, when the individual systems maintained their own set of user databases.  

The consolidated view of our customers will form the integral part of Changi’s “Customer Discovery Insights” programme. With a deeper understanding of customers’ likes and preferences, the airport can continue to customise programmes and services to their needs to serve them better and enhance their ‘Changi Experience’.
