By applying for a permit, the Organiser agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and undertakes to ensure that all Participants also comply with the same.

Definitions

1.     “Airport” refers to the public areas of Terminals 1, 2, 3 and 4 of Changi Airport.

2.     “Activity” refers to:

a.   Any public meeting, demonstration or procession;

b.   Any school or group orientation, camp or activity whether of recreational or educational nature; or

c.   Any show, play, concert, musical performance or any other performance akin to public entertainment in any part of the Airport.

3.     “CAG” refers to Changi Airport Group (S) Pte Ltd.

4.     “Organiser” refers to any person who holds or organises any Activity.

5.     “Participants” refers to any person who participates in any Activity. 

6.     “Tour” refers to visits or walkabout.


General Requirements

1.     An online application for a permit is required for all group visits involving 10 or more participants, including supervisors, facilitators, and caregivers.

2.     Applications must be submitted no more than 30 days in advance of the intended date of the Activity or Tour.

3.     The Organiser is responsible for familiarising themselves with the Airport terminals’ layout and for planning the route and locations prior to submitting the application form.

4.     The Organiser must ensure that the Activity or Tour is conducted only on the approved date and within the approved time period as authorised by CAG.

5.     Each Activity or Tour must not exceed 50 participants, including organisers and supervisors. Toddlers and infants are counted as individual participants.

6.     Self-guided tours must be strictly for educational or training purposes (i.e. not for social or recreational purposes). All applications must include a clear programme and objectives for assessment in their application

7.     The Organiser and all Participants must exercise due care and diligence to ensure their own health and safety, as well as that of the Participants. 

8.     The Organisers and Participants must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, rules, orders, and directions issued by CAG while at the Airport.

9.    No surveys or interviews are to be conducted during the Activity or Tour.

10.    Littering or any behaviour that may cause inconvenience or annoyance to passengers and other airport users is strictly prohibited.

11.    Activities must not obstruct any airport operational areas, including but not limited to:

a)   Information Counters;

b)   GST Refund Counters;

c)   Airport offices;

d)   Airline operational areas;

e)   Retail or F&B outlets; and.or

f)   Any other areas in active use by airport staff, management, or tenants.


Specific Terms & Conditions

12.    The Organiser and/or Participant agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless CAG, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in connection with the Organiser’s or Participants’ acts, omissions, negligence, or breach of these Terms and Conditions during the Activity or Tour.

13.    To the maximum extent permitted by law, CAG shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from or related to the Activity or Tour, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or disruption to the Activity.

14.    The Organiser and Participants shall comply with all applicable laws, regulations, rules, and directives of CAG and any relevant authorities at all times during the Activity or Tour.

15.    The Organiser is responsible for ensuring the health and safety of all Participants during the Activity or Tour, including compliance with any prevailing public health directives or safety guidelines issued by CAG or government agencies.

16.    The Organiser shall maintain adequate insurance coverage for the Activity or Tour, including public liability insurance, and provide proof of such insurance to CAG upon request.

17.    These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

18.    CAG reserves the right to modify or cancel the approval of the Activity or Tour at any time for safety, security, operational, or other legitimate reasons, without liability to the Organiser.

19.    The Organiser consents to the collection, use, and disclosure of any personal data provided in connection with the Activity or Tour for purposes related to the administration and management of the Activity or Tour, in accordance with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 and CAG’s Privacy Policy.

20.    Failure to comply with any of the above terms and conditions may result in the cancellation of the Tour or Activity, and Organiser and/or Participants may be asked to leave the Airport.

21.    CAG shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing their obligations where such failure or delay is due to causes beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, or acts of terrorism.

22.    If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be severed to the extent of such invalidity or unenforceability and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

23.    These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Organiser/Participants and CAG relating to the subject matter hereof and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, or arrangements (oral or written).
