Local food have always been a perennial favourite, and food lovers can now look forward to new tasty additions that are set to join the Changi dining line-up in the second-half of this year.
Mr Nigel Chia, General Manager, Retail, Services & Landside Development, tells us, âFood and beverage (F&B) is a crucial part of the overall Changi experience. With the new offerings, we endeavor to elevate this with a range of quality options for diverse palates, an assortment of well-known F&B brands and new-to-Changi concepts. Ultimately, our goal is for Changi to become a dining destination, not only for travellers, but for everyone who wants to enjoy a good meal, even if they are not travelling.â
Four new-to-Changi brands will open in Terminal 3.  First to open in May is Colonial Club, a new concept by the PappaMiaGroup. This is a modern cafĂ© with a colonial touch, serving a mix of Western food and Asian favourites. The other three are local âheroesâ â So Pho, A-One Signature and Collins. They offer well-loved Vietnamese, Chinese claypot and local western fares respectively. Â
Come June, Terminal 2âs Arrival Hall will welcome a cluster of five food outlets, which include the famous mouthwatering nasi lemak from Crave. Those on the hunt for healthy options will be pleased with two more new-to-Changi brands â Stuffâd, which offers Mexican and Turkish food and salad, as well as YolĂ© yogurt.
As a testament that Changi is on the right track towards building a healthy appetite for its dining experience, the airport clinched several prestigious accolades in the acclaimed FAB (Food and Beverage) Awards 2017. The airport also recently clinched second place at Skytrax 2018 for World's Best Airport Dining Experience.
The airport has also extended its partnership with Chope, a restaurant-reservation booking platform, with the opportunity to win 1,000,000 Changi Rewards points with every reservation made from 2 to 31 May 2018.
Keep your eyes (and tastebuds) peeled for new updates on Changiâs new restaurant concepts and partners. âStandby your stomach for the new and exciting yummy food concepts that will be rolled out this year!â, Mr Chia added.
