Under the Land Transport Authority (LTA) Vehicle Parking Certificate (VPC) scheme, heavy vehicles in Singapore are required to have a parking space licensed by LTA. During the registration of a new heavy vehicle, road tax renewal, transfer of ownership, or vehicle conversion, the vehicle owner must produce a VPC as proof of a designated overnight parking space. A valid VPC must cover the entire road tax period of the heavy vehicle at all times.
Changi Airfreight Centre (CAC) VPCs are only issued to heavy vehicles belonging to CAC tenants and/or its contractors with either a valid season parking or a valid tenant-accorded truck lot within CAC. Approved vehicles must be parked at their designated VPC parking space within CAC when not in use.
Please note that applicable CAC parking charges and fees will apply. Heavy vehicles parked in non-approved parking spaces may be subject to penalties and/or fines.
VPC applications are processed on the 1st and 16th of each month (or the next working day if the date falls on a weekend or public holiday). Submissions must be made at least three working days in advance of the processing dates. Changi Airport Group (CAG) reserves the right to reject applications and/or assign a validity period of less than 12 months at its discretion.
Eligible companies may apply for a CAC VPC via APIES. Each application costs $6.00 and is valid for up to 12 months. All CAC VPCs are non-transferable.
