Changi A-CDM flight takes off

Higher efficiency for higher performance

With the launch of A-CDM or Airport Collaboration Decision Making initiative, airport partners such as airlines, groundhandlers and air traffic control share information on airport and flight operations to enhance operational efficiency.

The airport environment is fast-paced and complex, involving different agencies working together to achieve smooth and efficient operations. On the tarmac, a flurry of activities takes place – re-fuelling, loading and unloading of baggage, aircraft servicing and aircraft interior cleaning – once an aircraft lands and docks. Within the terminals, passengers check-in for their flights, go through security screening and get ready to board the aircraft. These activities happen 24 hours a day at Changi Airport.

Changi Journeys offers you an inside look into how Changi Airport helps jet-setting passengers fuel up with a satisfying meal in double quick time so they can continue to enjoy the many facilities and shops across the terminals.

Sneak peek into Changi’s first airside café for airport staff!

With its bright colour scheme and modern interior décor, the all new Delta Café resembles a trendy dining outlet frequented by youths more than it does a staff canteen. Previously, staff working in the airside may take up to 10 minutes to clear security and walk to the staff canteens in the terminals for lunch. With the introduction of Delta Café, they can now save precious travel time and enjoy a longer break.
