Yes, Singapore’s pricing regulations require that displayed prices include GST. For participating GST-absorbed retail outlets, the GST-absorbed discount is applied at the point of sale after your Changi Rewards card has been scanned.

How It Works
Sample receipt:
For GST-registered retail outlets, the display price includes GST. Therefore, in this sample transaction, GST would already be included in the price of the item (SGD100).
Highlighted green label is the discount equivalent to a 9% GST amount based on GST-inclusive pricing (9/109 x SGD100 = SGD8.26).
The final price of the item is SGD100 - SGD8.26 = SGD91.74.

Only Changi Rewards members are eligible for the GST-absorbed shopping at participating retail outlets. You must scan your Changi Rewards card upon payment to enjoy GST-absorption.
The promotion is valid only at participating retail outlets at the public areas of Terminals 1 to 4 at Changi Airport. It does not apply in transit areas, Jewel Changi Airport outlets, F&B or non-participating outlets.
For GST-inclusive prices, the discount is calculated using this formula:
GST amount = 9 / 109 × (outlet retail selling price)
For example, if an item is priced at S$100, the 9% GST is calculated to be S$8.26. You will pay S$91.74 after the discount.
There will be a ‘CR MEMBER GST PROMO’ indicated on your receipt which reflects the GST discount amount deducted from the total.
Yes, GST absorption is applicable for all Changi Rewards members, regardless of nationality.
