What is this promotion about?

This is an exclusive promotion offered by Changi Pay, rewards Klook customers who visited the Changi Airport booth during the Klook Travel Fest (12 - 13 October 2024) at Plaza Singapura Atrium. To enjoy the promotions, customers must fulfil the conditions outlined under Clause 4.

 What is the duration of the promotion?

The promotion runs from 12 October 2024 to 31 March 2025.

 Who is eligible for the promotion?

This promotion is open to Singapore residents who:

  • Visited the Changi Airport booth during Klook Travel Fest between 12 and 13 October 2024 at Plaza Singapura Atrium;

  • Received a Changi Pay physical voucher slip or A5 flyer featuring the Changi Pay referral code;

  • Meet the registration and overseas spend requirements.

 How do I participate in the promotion?

To participate, complete the following steps by 31 March 2025:

             a.Download Changi App;

             b.Set up Changi Pay, i.e., the digital wallet page in the Changi App;

              c.Register a Liquid Account for the first time;

              d.Enter the referral code on the Liquid Account registration page;

            e.Perform a one-time initial top-up of S$50 into the Liquid Account via PayNow;

               f.Make a 1st overseas spend (no minimum spend required) with Changi Pay by 31 March 2025.

Where can I find the referral code?

Find your Changi Pay referral code on the physical voucher slip or A5 flyer distributed during Klook Travel Fest (12 -13 October 2024) at Plaza Singapura Atrium.

 

 What if I forgot to enter the referral code during Liquid Account registration?

Please enter the referral code correctly during Liquid Account registration in the Changi Pay digital wallet within the Changi App.  Failure to do so will not qualify you from the promotion. 

 

 What is the format of the referral code?

The referral code is alphanumeric and consist of 10 characters.

What rewards can I earn?

Upon successful Liquid Account registration with the referral code, you will earn the following rewards upon completing these actions:

          a.S$10 Changi Pay e-Vouchers after performing a one-time top-up of S$50 into your Liquid Account in Changi Pay for the first time.

          b.S$20 Changi Pay e-Vouchers after making your first overseas spend with Changi Pay by 31 March 2025.

 

What conditions must be met to earn the reward?

To qualify, ensure you:

  • Enter the referral code correctly in the ‘Referral Code’ field during Liquid Account registration in Changi Pay. 

  • Do not unlink your Liquid Account from Changi Pay during the promotion period.  
     
    Note: Incorrect or missing referral codes and account unlinks will forfeit rewards.

 

How will I receive my rewards?

Rewards will be credited to your Changi Pay digital wallet account within 14 working days after each calendar month-end.

 

 How do I check my reward status?

You can check your reward status via:

            a.Email/SMS notification: Updates will be sent within 14 working days after each calendar month-end.

             b.Changi Pay: Log in to your Changi Pay digital wallet account in Changi App to view your vouchers.

Where can I use the e-Vouchers earned?
 

Your Changi Pay e-Vouchers can be used for purchases at participating outlets at Changi Airport Terminals (Transit and Public area, excluding Terminal 2 canteen), Jewel Changi Airport and on iShopChangi.com.

Can Changi Pay e-Vouchers be used in conjunction with other promotions in-store?

Yes, Changi Pay e-Vouchers can be used in conjunction with other in-store promotions. However, please note that they are non-transferrable, non-assignable, and non-exchangeable for cash. 

What is a Liquid Account? 

 

Liquid Account is the e-money account to be linked to your Changi Pay account for purposes of overseas payment. Liquid Account allows users to store e-money (top-up via PayNow) and use Changi Pay to make overseas payment at participating merchants via the Alipay+ network.

Who can register for a Liquid Account? 

 

Changi Pay users with a Singpass account will be able to register and use their Changi Pay-linked-Liquid Account. 

I have issues registering my Liquid Account in Changi Pay 

If you have any issues registering your Liquid Account, please contact support@liquidgroup.sg for assistance and include the following as per your Changi Account:

a.Full Name 

b.Mobile Number 

c.Email Address 

I have encountered an error while making payment with Changi Pay 

Please check that your mobile phone’s internet connection is stable. 

For Changi Pay QR transactions: 

If your payment is rejected, please check with your issuing bank for linked credit card transactions.  

For Alipay+ transactions overseas: 

If your payment is rejected, ensure that you have enough money in your Liquid Account for the transaction and / or have not hit the e-wallet cap of S$5,000 and/or 12 months rolling period cap of S$30,000. For payments in China via Alipay+ network, please note that the Chinese regulatory limits are as follows:  

 

  • RMB35,000 per transaction, and

  • RMB350,000 in a year.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. This Promotion is organized by Changi Airport Group (Singapore) Pte Ltd. (“CAG”).

  2. By participating in this Promotion, all participants shall be deemed to have read, understood and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions and all amendments, additions, replacements, and modifications hereto as may be made from time to time. Subject to the terms and conditions contained herein, this Promotion is open to all individuals who fulfil the criteria set out in Clause 3(a) to 3(b) and the Promotion must be redeemed by 31 March 2025, or while redemption quotas are available, whichever is earlier (the “Promotion Period”). 

 

Eligibility

           3.To be eligible for this Promotion, Participants will have to be:

                a. New users of Liquid Account1 in Changi Pay, i.e., the digital wallet page in the Changi Application.

                b.Participants of the Klook Travel Festival at Plaza Singapura Atrium from 12 to 13 October 2024, 10AM to 9PM

(each a “Participant”)

 

Definitions

          4.“Eligible Transaction” means a successful overseas peer-to-merchant QR payment made through Alipay+ (overseas) and DuitNow (Malaysia) via the Changi Pay digital wallet. 

 

Promotion
            5.To participate in the Promotion, the Participants must perform and complete all the following steps during the Promotion Period:

            a.Launch the Changi Pay feature;

            b.Register for Liquid Account1 for the first time;

             c.Enter the referral code2 on the registration page of the Liquid Account before completing the registration process on the Changi Application; and

            d.Do a one-time top-up of at least S$50 into the Liquid Account via PayNow (“Initial Top-up Amount”); and

            e.Make a first Eligible Transaction (with no minimum spend required) with Changi Pay by 31 March 2025.

 

[1] Liquid Account refers to the e-money account provided by Liquid that would be linked to Participant’s Changi Pay account that can be used as an e-wallet for payment.

 6.Upon completing the steps set out in clauses 5(a) to 5(d) above, the Participant will be eligible to receive S$10 Changi Pay e-vouchers in their Changi Pay digital wallet account within 14 working days after the end of every calendar month.

 7.Upon successful completion of the first Eligible Transaction made by 31 March 2025, the Participant will be eligible to receive S$20 Changi Pay e-vouchers in their Changi Pay digital wallet account within 14 working days after the end of every calendar month.

8.This Promotion is limited to: for clause 6 above, the first 1,600 sets of e-vouchers; and for clause 7 above, the first 800 sets of e-vouchers. All e-vouchers will be given away on a first-to-complete Clause 6 and 7 respectively, first-to-be-given basis per Participant. Limited to 1 set of e-vouchers per Participant for clause 6 and 7 respectively.

 9.All e-vouchers are valid for a period of 6 months starting from the date of receipt of the e-vouchers. No extensions, refund, or replacement shall be permitted or entertained.

 10.All e-vouchers can be used for purchases at participating outlets at Changi Airport Terminals (both Transit and Public area, excluding Terminal 2 canteen), Jewel Changi Airport and on iShopChangi.com with no minimum spend required and it must be applied by the Participant in Changi Pay before payment is being processed. The list of participating outlets can be found via https://www.changiairport.com/en/shop/changipay/outlets.html

 11.Participant will not qualify for the Promotion if they previously register for a Liquid Account (e.g. by deleting their existing Liquid Account linked to Changi Pay and subsequently registering for a new Liquid Account), if they registered for a Liquid Account through Changi Pay before the Promotion Period, and/or if they withdraw the Initial Top-up Amount from their Liquid Account during the Promotion Period. In the event that a Participant is later determined to be ineligible for the Promotion, CAG reserves the right to withdraw the e-vouchers.

 12.All Participants cannot qualify for any other new Liquid Account user promotions rolled out by CAG.

 13.All e-vouchers (or any part thereof, including unutilized portion) are strictly non-transferable, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable for cash, credits, goods or benefits-in-kind, unless otherwise stated. The e-vouchers are subject to such further terms and conditions as may be stipulated on the e-vouchers. CAG reserves the right to replace or change the e-vouchers without prior notice.

 14.All e-vouchers must be redeemed by the date specified within the e-vouchers, after which the e-vouchers shall be deemed forfeited, and there shall be strictly no extensions. CAG will not entertain any appeals whatsoever.

 15.CAG shall not be responsible for any consequences, including but not limited to loss of life, injury to person and/or damage to property, arising from and/or in connection with the Participant’s participation in the Promotion, or the Participant’s redemption and/or use of the gifts and e-vouchers.

 16.CAG’s determination on all matters relating to the Promotion shall be final, conclusive, and binding. No correspondence and/or appeals will be entertained.

 17.All Participants whose e-vouchers have been unredeemed or forfeited shall not be entitled to any payment or compensation. 

 

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

 18.All payment services relating to the use of Changi Pay are provided by Liquid Group Pte Ltd (“Liquid”). CAG is marketing the aforesaid payment services on behalf of Liquid. Liquid is the holder of a Major Payment Institution licenses for account issuance, domestic money transfer, cross-border money transfer, merchant acquisition and e-money issuance under the Payment Services Act. 

 19.CAG shall not be liable for any damages, loss or inconvenience for any matter arising out of or in connection with this Promotion, and each Participant agrees to indemnify and hold CAG harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs or expenses suffered or incurred by CAG in relation to the Promotion.

 20.CAG reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to terminate the Promotion or to vary the terms and conditions herein at any time at its absolute discretion without further notice.

 21.n the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any other form of publicity collateral relating to the Promotion, these terms and conditions shall prevail.

 22.These terms and conditions shall be construed and governed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. CAG and all Participants hereby accept the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts to rule on any issues or disputes related thereto.

 2.Eligibility

            a.To be eligible for this Promotion (“Eligible User”), you must use Changi Pay for the payment through Liquid Account. 

 3.Definitions

             a.“Eligible Transaction” means a successful peer-to-merchant QR payment made through Alipay+ (overseas) or DuitNow (Malaysia) QR, via the Changi Pay digital wallet.

 4.Promotion Mechanics

             a.An Eligible User will receive a set of e-vouchers worth S$50 (“e-Vouchers”) with every S$500 nett accumulative spend on Eligible Transactions made overseas during the Promotion Period. Refunded transactions will not be taken into account for the purposes of this Promotion. Each Eligible User may receive a maximum of four (4) sets of Changi Pay e-Vouchers within the Promotion Period. The list of countries accepting Changi Pay include China, Malaysia, Macau, Hong Kong, Japan and South Korea.              b.The e-Vouchers comprises 5 pieces of S$10 off with no minimum spend Changi Pay e-vouchers. 

             c.The Promotion is limited to the first 2,000 set of e-Vouchers to be given away on a first-come-first-served basis. 

            d.The e-Vouchers are valid for a period of 6 months starting from the date of receipt of the e-Vouchers. No extension, refund, or replacement shall be permitted or entertained.

            e.The e-Vouchers can be used for purchases at participating outlets at Changi Airport Terminals (both Transit and Public area, excluding Terminal 2 canteen), Jewel Changi Airport and on iShopChangi.com with no minimum spend required and it must be applied by the Eligible User in Changi Pay before processing payment.            f.Amounts paid for the purchase of tobacco products (including without limitation cigarettes, cigars, or any other form of tobacco, or any tobacco derivative or substitute) will not be eligible for the redemption of the e-Vouchers.

          g.The e-Vouchers (or any part thereof, including any unutilized portion) are strictly non-refundable, non-transferable, and not exchangeable for cash, credit, goods or benefits-in-kind, unless otherwise stated. The e-Vouchers are subject to such further terms and conditions as may be stipulated on the e-Vouchers.

 5.Fulfilment

          a.Subject to the fulfilment of the terms and conditions set out herein, CAG shall credit the e-Vouchers to the Eligible User’s Changi Pay wallet account within 14 working days after the end of every calendar month. 

         b.Eligible Users who qualify for the e-Vouchers will be notified by email, or any other suitable means as CAG may deem fit, within 14 working days after the end of every calendar month.

 6.GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

          a.All payment services relating to the use of Changi Pay are provided by Liquid Group Pte Ltd (“Liquid”). Changi Airport Group (Singapore) Pte Ltd is marketing the aforesaid payment services on behalf of Liquid.   1. The promotion period starts from 12 October 2024 (10:00hrs, SGT) to 31 December 2024 (23:59hrs, SGT). This promotion must be redeemed by 31 December 2024, or while redemption lasts.

    2.By participating in this Shopping Promotion, all participants shall be bound by the following terms and conditions and all amendments, additions, replacements and modifications hereto as may be made from time to time

4.This Promotion is only applicable for purchases made at Cosmetics & Perfumes by Shilla or Lotte Duty Free Wines & Spirits stores in the Transit Areas of Singapore Changi Airport Terminals 1, 2, 3 and 4 with a minimum spend of S$200 within a single receipt. 

 5.The Shopping Promotion is applicable only at selected participating outlets and products, and cannot be combined with other existing promotions. Terms and conditions are subject to change by CAG at its discretion, without prior notice.

 6.All passengers arriving and departing from Changi Airport with a valid boarding pass are eligible for the promotion. A boarding pass, physical voucher/flyer or the image of the voucher/flyer are required to be presented to the cashier to qualify for this promotion. 

 7.This promotion is on a first come first serve basis, while stocks last.  

 8.Product exclusions are applicable for this promotion which includes Chanel, Christian Dior, La Mer, Martell VSOP 1L, Martell Noblige 1L, Martell Cordon Bleu 1L, 40% 1000ml Martell Cordon Bleu Vincent Darre CNY, All SKUs from the Macallan, Hibiki, Yamazaki, Hakushu, Louis Xiii & Dalmore and all Tobacco products.

9.Amounts paid for the purchase of tobacco products (including without limitation cigarettes, cigars, or any other form of tobacco, or any tobacco derivative or substitute) will not be eligible for this promotion/discount redemption.

 10.This voucher cannot be combined with other promotions, discounts, or privileges. The promotion/discounts are also not stackable with other CAG-run promotions. Cashiers must ensure the final receipt amount meets the minimum spend amount. 

 11.CAG’s decisions on all matters relating to the Shopping Promotion are final, conclusive and binding on all participants.
