TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR CHANGI APP “CAPPYVILLE”

5 NOVEMBER 2025 – 4 JANUARY 2026

 

1.               ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.1.         By participating in the Changi App “Cappyville” game (the “Game”), each Participant confirms that he/she has read, understood and agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions set out herein, including any other requirements, instructions, FAQs, mechanics, redemption/collection details and other information published or made available by CAG in connection with the Game, whether within the Game, the App (as defined below), or other official CAG platforms (“Game Materials”), and all amendments, additions, replacements and modifications thereto as may be made from time to time (the “Terms and Conditions”).

1.2.         This Game is organised and administered by Changi Airport Group (Singapore) Pte Ltd (“CAG”).

1.3.         As a condition of participation in the Game, each Participant affirms and represents that he/she is at least 18 years of age and agrees to be bound in all respects by these Terms and Conditions. If a Participant is below 18 years old, he/she must and will be deemed to have in any event, obtained consent from his parent(s) or legal guardian(s), their acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and their agreement to take responsibility for his/her acts and omissions in connection with his/her participation in the Game and/or use of the Reward(s), as the case may be.

 

2.               ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

2.1.         This Game is open to participants who are, during the Game Period (as defined below):

a.     Changi account holders with verified and active membership status;

b.     are aged 18 years and above (as at the date of their participating in the Game);

c.     and are not persons within the Excluded Categories.

(each a “Participant” and collectively the “Participants”)

“Excluded Categories” refer to:

a.     Directors and employees of CAG’s appointed agencies, vendors, auditors (which include Meet Isaac Pte Ltd and FPT Asia Pacific Pte Ltd) and any other persons who are involved in organising, and/or administering the Game;

b.     Immediate family members of persons who fall within the class of persons referred to above. “Immediate family members” refer to spouses, children, parents, parents-in-law and siblings;

c.     Any person who is or becomes insane, deceased, insolvent or is the subject of a criminal investigation, or has criminal proceedings instituted against him/her in any jurisdiction (at the time of participation);  

d.     Any person whose participation in and/or association with the Game may cause (in the sole and absolute opinion of CAG) and/or the Game, any disrepute, contempt, scandal, ridicule, or cause CAG and/or the Game to be perceived unfavourably; and

e.     Any other person or class of persons deemed ineligible or notified by CAG as being ineligible from time to time.

2.2.         CAG reserves the right (in its sole and absolute discretion) to determine the eligibility of any person in relation to the Game, and CAG may at any time during the Game refuse or disqualify any person from participating in the Game without providing any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to unsafe or unruly behaviour that may result in harm or damage to that person or any other persons.

 

3.               MECHANICS AND CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

3.1.         The Game shall commence from 5 November 2025 (0000hrs, Singapore Time) and end on 4 January 2026 (2359hrs, Singapore Time) (the “Game Period”). All in-Game activities, including in-Game redemptions, must be completed before the expiry of the Game Period. Physical collections of Incentives (as defined below) may extend beyond the Game Period where specified, and are subject to Clause 3.7.

3.2.         To participate in the Game, each Participant shall: 

a.     Download the Changi mobile application (“App”);

b.     Sign up and log in to a verified Changi account; and

c.     Create an in-game username (“User ID”) in the Game.

3.3.         Eligible Participants can participate in any or all of the following key modules of the Game based on the respective qualifying criteria and mechanics as set out below.

Cappy Treasures, Grand Prizes and Rewards

3.4.         Participants can collect up to a maximum of 6 different digital collectibles (“Cappy Treasures”) through participating in the various modules in the Game. Participants may redeem the Cappy Treasures collected from the Game for the relevant grand prizes (each, a “Grand Prize” and collectively, “Grand Prizes”) at any time during the Game Period. All Grand Prizes available for redemption and/or exchange will be listed in the relevant section in the Game.

3.5.         To redeem Grand Prizes in the Game, Participants shall have collected sufficient Cappy Treasures corresponding to the requirement for each Grand Prize as specified in the Game. The corresponding number of unique Cappy Treasures for each selected Grand Prize shall be deducted from the Participant upon every Grand Prize redemption.

3.6.         In addition to the Grand Prizes, by participating in the Game, Participants may also stand a chance to win additional rewards, including without limitation, promotional shopping vouchers, Changi Rewards points, Cappy Treasures, and Changi App merchandise (“Rewards”, and together with Grand Prizes, “Incentives”). The redemption of Incentives may be subject to additional terms and conditions as stated in the Game Materials or upon redemption. Incentives are limited in quantity, and shall be issued on a first come, first served and while-stocks-last basis.

3.7.         All Incentives that consist of physical items and require in-person collection must be collected by the Participant within the collection period and at the designated collection locations specified by CAG. Participants shall refer to the relevant collection instructions for applicable deadlines for physical collection of Incentives.

Light Tower Daily Check-in

3.8.         Participants can check-in once every day by tapping on the “CLAIM REWARD” button in the Game. Each check-in entitles the Participant to a single chance to receive a Cappy Treasure.

3.9.         A Participant can sustain a daily streak of up to a maximum of seven (7) days. At the end of seven (7) days, the streak will reset and the count will restart from day 1. If a Participant misses a check-in at any point in time, their streak will reset and the count will restart from day 1.

3.10.     Crediting of Changi Rewards points or Cappy Treasures is instant, and will be immediately reflected in the App or the Game, as the case may be. Retrospective crediting of Changi Rewards points or Cappy Treasures is not permissible, and CAG will not entertain any requests, claims, demands, or correspondence for retrospective crediting of Changi Rewards points or Cappy Treasures for any reason whatsoever, including from network connectivity issues or technical errors.

Bingo Wonder

3.11.     Participants can complete specific missions as set out in the Game, on a grid of missions. Completing a mission will automatically mark the corresponding square on the grid of missions. A bingo line is achieved when a Participant completes a full row, column or diagonal line of marked squares (a “Missions Bingo”).

3.12.     Upon successful completion of a Missions Bingo, Participant will receive a Cappy Treasure in the Game, and may additionally select to receive one of two available Rewards.

3.13.        Participants who are registered under the Changi Rewards Staff Programme and have successfully completed a Missions Bingo, will also receive an additional complimentary Reward.

3.14.     Where any qualifying spend (“Qualifying Spend”) is required to complete a mission,  only net spend per transaction will be considered and the following spending shall be excluded:  

a.     Amounts paid using vouchers (including Capitaland vouchers, Changi Dollar Vouchers, e-Changi Dollar Vouchers, Changi Rewards eVouchers, Jewel Gift Vouchers and/or Changi Gift Cards); and/or   

b.     Amounts paid for the purchase of tobacco and/or tobacco products (including without limitation cigarettes, cigars, or any other form of tobacco, any tobacco derivative or substitute, any mixture containing any form of tobacco or a tobacco derivative or tobacco substitute).

c.     Additionally, all purchases and/or transactions made at service outlets and at the following outlets at Singapore Changi Airport, are excluded and do not constitute Qualifying Spend for the Game:   

-        Banks        

-        Money changing facilities 

-        Medical clinics 

-        Top-up card machines 

-        Postal services & Post-on-Wheels 

-        Lounges (Bank / Airline / Ambassador / Pay-per-use lounges) 

-        Transit Hotels - Hotel reservation counters  

-        Airport shuttle and transportation counters  

-        Car Rental 

-        Changi Recommends outlets and service counters 

-        Passenger meeting services counters 

-        Left luggage service counters 

-        Telecommunication outlets and service counters (e.g. M1)  

-        Temporary outposts 

-        Crowne Plaza Hotel (including all retail, F&B or service within the hotel premises) and YOTELAIR Singapore Changi Airport 

-        Tour and travel services  

-        Apple Store in Jewel Changi Airport 

-        Online purchases made in Jewel Changi Airport. 

The list of participating outlets in the Game is subject to change by CAG at its discretion without prior notice.

3.15.     To complete the “Purchase exclusive collectibles” mission:  

a.     Participant shall make a successful purchase of a Changi Airport exclusive collectible on Changi App under the “Celebrate with Changi” section, via the “Purchase with Purchase” option (“Qualifying Purchase”).

b.     Purchases made using the “Pay with Changi Rewards points” option will not entitle Participants to complete the mission.

Shell Trails

3.16.     During the Game Period, Participant can play an interactive game (the “Shell Trails”), and must complete all three (3) difficulty levels in a day, to stand a chance to receive a Reward. Participants are limited to one (1) Reward per day.

3.17.     Participants may receive the same or a different Reward daily. The Reward a Participant may win will be determined by an electronic draw system, programmed to randomly generate and dispense varying Rewards. The odds of winning each Reward are calculated based on a pre-configured prize cap.

Gift a Cappy Treasure

3.18.     Where a Participant has duplicate Cappy Treasures, the Participant may choose to share duplicate copies of that Cappy Treasure(s) with a Friend. For the purposes of this Clause, “Friend” shall mean an individual who meets the eligibility criteria set out in Clause 2 above, and who has been added or invited by the Participant using the unique invitation link found in the “Friends” feature within the Game. Participant may share up to one (1) such eligible Cappy Treasure with each Friend per day, during the Game Period.

4.               PERSONAL DATA AND PRIVACY

4.1.         Participation in the Game requires the processing of Participants’ personal data, including full name, User ID, date of birth, email address, personal mobile number, home address, as well as booking and transaction history. Information that is sent automatically by Participant’s web browser, computer, mobile phone, tablet or other device, if applicable, may also be collected. 

4.2.         CAG may use Participants’ personal data for the purposes of administering the Game, matching personal data collected through this Game with other data CAG holds about the Participant to optimise operations and improve the services offered (such as providing relevant and personalised content) to Participant via the registered mobile or email address provided; statistical analysis; and for CAG to fulfil its obligations under these Terms and Conditions (the “Relevant Purposes”). CAG may also disclose such personal data to any of its subsidiaries, affiliates, service providers and/or agents for the Relevant Purposes. 

4.3.         By participating in the Game, Participants consent to CAG’s collection, use, disclosure, storage and other processing of any personal data provided in accordance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 and CAG’s Privacy Policy (https://www.changiairport.com/en/privacy-policy.html).

4.4.         Each Participant represents and warrants that any personal data the Participant discloses to CAG is complete and accurate. CAG shall not be held liable and shall be fully indemnified by you for any incorrect or inaccurate personal data provided.  

4.5.         To promote and advertise the Game, CAG reserves the right to engage authorised photographers and videographers to take photographs and/or video recordings of Participants at point of Incentive collection and/or event area located at Changi Airport. By participating in the Game, Participants consent to being photographed and recorded by authorised photographers and videographers as customers participating in the Game and consent to the use of such images, films or recordings for public transmission and for the marketing and publicity materials of Changi Airport. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CAG shall not be liable in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, for any direct loss, indirect or consequential loss, damage, cost and expense, or loss or profits, arising out of or in connection with the Game.  

4.6.         By accepting an Incentive, Participant consents to the collection and public disclosure of the Participant’s full name and image recordings for audit, publicity and/or commercial purposes in relation to any and all of CAG promotional and marketing activities, including this Game. Participant further agrees to participate in any advertising, promotion, media interviews and publicity activities stipulated by CAG in relation to the Game, and to provide and permit the use of their personal data for any future marketing efforts and media publicity by CAG’s promotional and marketing activities. Accordingly, unless otherwise permitted by CAG, failure to comply or refusal to agree with this clause shall result in disqualification and forfeiture of all relevant Rewards.

 

5.               LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY

5.1.         CAG shall not be responsible or liable for any problems with the network, mobile device hardware, software or breakdown or failures that affects Participant’s participation and experience of the Game.

5.2.         To the fullest extent permitted by law, CAG shall not be liable in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, for any direct loss, indirect or consequential loss, damage, cost and expense, or loss or profits, arising out of or in connection with the Game, save and except for any personal injury or death caused by the negligence of CAG and its employees.

5.3.         CAG shall not be held liable or responsible for any disputes that Participants may have with our Partners or any other third parties, regarding the use of the Incentives.

5.4.         Participants agree that they will indemnify and hold harmless CAG, and its directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors (each an “Indemnified Party”) from and against all claims, demands, chose in action, judgments, suits, proceedings, liabilities, costs, expenses, damages and losses (including but not limited to any direct, indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of reputation and all interest, penalties, legal costs (calculated on a full indemnity basis and including solicitor and client costs) and all other professional costs and expenses) suffered or incurred by an Indemnified Party arising out of or in connection with their participation in the Game.

 

6.               GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

6.1.         All Incentives are non-negotiable, non-transferable, non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash, credit, goods or benefits-in-kind. No compensation shall be payable if a Participant is unable to use an Incentive, fails to use the Incentive, or fails to collect the Incentive in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of the Game. There shall be strictly no refund or exchange for any Incentive (whether used or unused). CAG reserves the right to use any unclaimed, unredeemed or forfeited Incentives for any purposes deemed appropriate, including but not limited to redistribution or other promotional activities.

6.2.         All Incentives are issued on a first-come first-served basis, and are only available while stocks last. CAG may at any time in its sole and absolute discretion, substitute the Incentives mentioned in these Terms and Conditions with any other item of equivalent or similar value, without prior notice or reason or being liable to any person.

6.3.         All Changi Rewards points awarded by the Game will be automatically credited into the Participant’s App account. The use and redemption of the Changi Rewards points is subject to the Changi Rewards Programme Terms and Conditions (https://www.changiairport.com/en/rewards/changi-rewards-terms-and-conditions.html). 

6.4.         CAG reserves the right to not issue any Cappy Treasures, Rewards or Grand Prizes or to claw back any Cappy Treasures, Rewards or Grand Prizes awarded if CAG has reasonable grounds for believing that the Participant has engaged in fraud or if the Participant did not comply with any part of the Terms and Conditions, and in all circumstances CAG’s decision shall be final. 

6.5.         The Incentives are provided on an as-is basis. To the full extent permissible by law, CAG disclaims all warranties, conditions or representations, express or implied, with respect to the Incentives, including but not limited to all warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. 

6.6.         CAG may at any time in its absolute discretion (without assigning any reasons or justifications): 

a.   Disregard any improper, late, or retrospective claims for Cappy Treasures, Grand Prizes or Rewards in relation to the Game; and/or

b.   Modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Game without prior notice.

6.7.         CAG reserves the right to change or vary these Terms and Conditions as it deems fit, without prior notice. Should any dispute arise, CAG’s decision on all matters relating to the Game and these Terms and Conditions is final, conclusive and binding on all participants, and no correspondence will be entertained.

6.8.         CAG makes no representation, warranty or undertaking whatsoever as to any implied terms or conditions or as to the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of any content or information regarding the Game contained on its official website, or on any Game-related collaterals/materials. All information is accurate at the time of print/publishing. CAG shall not be liable for any dissatisfaction, damages, loss, injury or inconvenience arising from the materials published or printed in relation to the Game.

6.9.         In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any Game Materials, the Game Materials shall prevail.  

6.10.     These Terms and Conditions may be translated into another language other than English. In the event of any inconsistency between the English version and any other translation hereof, the English language version shall prevail.

6.11.     The Game and these Terms and Conditions shall be construed and governed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. All Participants hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts in the determination of any matter or dispute arising in connection with the Game and/or the Game Terms and Conditions. 

6.12.     These Terms and Conditions are not intended to confer rights to any third party under the Singapore Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001 to enforce any provision of these Terms and Conditions, and the operation of the said Act is hereby excluded.
