To prepare for your visit to Changi Airport, we’ve partnered Rainbow Centre, Singapore to create the Changi Airport Sensory Map. The map is designed to help you plan your visit and navigate through our terminals by identifying quieter rest areas, accessible facilities and services, as well as attractions for you and your loved ones to enjoy before your flight or when you arrive at Changi.

Travelling and navigating through an unfamiliar environment can be stressful. To help familiarise and prepare for your airport journey beforehand, Changi Airport has partnered Rainbow Centre, Singapore to develop the Changi Airport Social Story. This tool outlines the airport journey including both departure and arrival processes. It has been designed to allow for customisation to suit your individual travel journeys.

Special Assistance Lanes are available for passengers travelling with young children, assisting a companion, or using mobility aids such as wheelchairs. These lanes are wider and designed for greater ease and comfort.

Up to four travellers may clear immigration together through these lanes, making them ideal for families or those requiring support.

Passengers may enter the metal detector with personal mobility aids. Your items will be scanned separately.

Wheelchair users may either pass through the metal detector or side entrance, followed by a routine body search. Private search rooms are available upon request.

Passengers carrying liquid medication (including eye drops) exceeding 100ml must present supporting medical documentation.

Passengers wearing medical devices are advised to inform our security officers before screening.
