ABOUT CARPASS

What is CarPass?

CarPass is a feature of the Changi app that allows Changi Rewards members to redeem complimentary parking from parking promotions seamlessly when they shop at participating retail and F&B outlets in Changi Airport. It replaces the redemption of physical parking coupons over the counter.

 

What are the benefits of using CarPass?

With CarPass, customers do not need go to a redemption counter to redeem a physical parking coupon in person. Customers also do not need to remove their cash card at the car park exit gantry to enjoy the parking reward. Instead, once the parking reward is redeemed via CarPass, drivers can simply drive up to the car park exit gantry and the relevant parking reward would be automatically deducted based on the car’s IU number and Changi Rewards membership.

 

How does one redeem with CarPass?

Customers need to download the Changi app and be a Changi Rewards member to redeem the parking reward via CarPass. 

  • Customers can use the parking reward redeemed only at T1/Jewel General Car Park (B3-B5), T2, T3 and T4 multi-storey carparks. 
  • The Parking Promotion is NOT applicable at the following carparks (i.e. T1/Jewel Short-termCar Park (B2-B2M) and Hub & Spoke Car Park between Terminal 2 and JetQuay).
  • Promotion is valid for cars only and cannot be use for motorcycles. 

 

If customer does not have the Changi App installed on device yet:

If customer already has the Changi App installed on device:

a) Automated redemption:

  • CarPass QR code on qualifying receipt:
  1. Scan the QR code on the payment receipt to launch Changi App
  2. Access CarPass within the Changi App by clicking onto “Enjoy Parking Promos” icon on the homepage.
  3. Verify/Input vehicle license plate number and the IU number if you haven’t done so already
  4.  Click “Proceed” to confirm IU number
  5. Parking rewards will be auto-credited to Changi Rewards member’s account

 

  • Transaction recorded through Changi Rewards:
  1. Scan your Changi Rewards QR code during payment
  2. Access CarPass within Changi App by clicking onto “Enjoy Parking Promos” icon on the homepage
  3. Verify/Input vehicle license plate number and the IU number if you haven’t done so already
  4. Click “Proceed” to confirm IU number
  5. Select relevant parking promotion for redemption
  6. Select eligible transaction to redeem parking promotion
  7. Confirm selection and parking reward by clicking onto “Redeem”
  8. Parking rewards will be auto-credited to Changi Rewards member’s account 


If redemption fails or eligible transaction was not recorded, follow manual redemption method below - 

 

b)    Manually redemption 

  1. Access the CarPass module within the Changi App by logging into the Changi App and launching the CarPass module.
  2. Verify/Input vehicle license plate number and the IU number if you haven’t done so already
  3. Click “Proceed” to confirm IU number
  4. Select the tab with the relevant parking promotion for redemption
  5. To redeem transaction manually, upload an image of receipt
  6. Key in the receipt details and redeem the parking rewards
  7. A pop-up page will appear to confirm redemption benefit and parking rewards will be auto-credited to CR member’s account

 

Exception Handling for Malaysia-registered cars without IU

Customers who drive Malaysia-registered cars without IU will not be able to redeem their free parking rewards with CarPass. Customers are to present their qualifying receipts to redeem physical complimentary parking coupon(s) from the following locations during counter opening hours: 

  • T1 Departure Hall Information Counter (open 24 hrs, daily)
  • T2 Arrival Hall Information Counter (open 24 hrs, daily)
  • T3 Arrival Hall Information Counter (open 24 hrs, daily)
  • T3 Basement 2 Customer Service Counter (opposite FairPrice Finest, open 10:00 AM–10.30 PM, daily)
  • T4 Arrival Hall (opposite LiHO) (open 24 hrs, daily) 

LIST OF PARTICIPATING OUTLETS

All retail and F&B outlets within the public areas of Terminals 1 to 4 at Changi Airport are participating outlets, except for the following:

  • Banks and Money Changing facilities
  • Bill payment transactions e.g. through AXS, Cheers or SingPost
  • Crowne Plaza Hotel, including outlets within the Crowne Plaza Hotel Education service provider
  • Left Luggage services counters
  • Jewel Changi Airport*
  • Pay-Per-Use Lounges
  • Medical clinics
  • SingPost
  • Staff Canteens and Taxi Canteens
  • Services counters (Car Rental/ Hotel Reservation / Airport Shuttle / Passenger Meeting Service)
  • Telecommunication outlets and service counters e.g. Starhub
  • Temporary retail outposts involving non-CAG tenants
  • Top-up card transactions (e.g. topping up of Kopitiam and Wang Loyalty card) and purchase of vouchers and Changi Gift Cards are not eligible for the promotion.

 

*Receipts from Jewel Changi Airport are not eligible for this promotion.

  • This 2-hour Free Parking Campaign is valid from 12 Jan – 24 May 2024, unless stated otherwise. 

  • For a minimum spend of S$35 by Mastercard; or S$50 by other payment modes; or S$50 spend at supermarket in a single receipt at Terminals 1 to 4 (excluding Jewel Changi Airport), customers will be entitled to redeem 2 hours of free parking valued at S$4.80 (1 hour = S$2.40 worth of parking charges). 

  • A single parking reward in CarPass or physical complimentary coupon is applicable for usage at selected car parks only (i.e. T1/Jewel General Car Park (B3-B5), T2A, T2B, T3A, T3B, T4A, T4B) at Changi Airport Terminals 1, 2, 3 and 4 only.

  • The Parking Promotion is NOT applicable at the following carparks (i.e. T1/Jewel Short-term Carpark (B2-B2M) and Hub & Spoke Carpark between Terminal 2 and JetQuay).

  • Redemptions are to be made on the same day of qualifying transaction. The parking reward is valid on the day of issuance only. 

  • Redemptions is based on a first-come-first-served, while-stocks-last basis.

  • Where the Customer has any parking privileges or parking rebates pursuant to any of CAG's programmes that are to be utilised via the Portal (including but not limited to free parking for having met the spend criteria in Terminal 1 to Terminal 4 public areas, or any parking privileges under the Changi Rewards loyalty programme, or any other form of parking benefits accorded under the Portal, and/or redemption of Changi Rewards points for parking rebates), the Park & Fly eCoupon shall be applied towards the total parking charges in the following order of priority (with the items on top with higher precedence):

  • (1) Parking rewards redeemed under Changi Airport and Jewel Changi Airport promotions through the Portal, for having met the spend criteria;
  • (2) Parking privileges under the Changi Rewards loyalty programme (for Platinum or Gold members);
  • (3) Any other form of parking benefits accorded under the Portal;
  • (4) Park & Work eCoupon;
  • (5) Park & Fly eCoupon (maximum of 1 Park & Fly eCoupon can be used per exit);
  • (6) Parking rebates redeemed with Changi Rewards points;
  • (7) Other physical carpark coupon (a maximum of one physical coupon may be used)
  • Purchases from Jewel Changi Airport are NOT eligible for the promotion. 

  • Duplicated, online and handwritten receipts will not be accepted for redemption.  

  • Redemption of parking rewards must be made via CarPass on the Changi App. 

  • Redemptions are non-transferable, non-negotiable, non-refundable, cannot be exchanged for cash and not for resale purposes. 

  • The free parking reward is not refundable in part if not fully utilised.

  • Redemption is valid with other CAG-organized and tenants’ promotions, i.e. credit card promotions. 

  • Only 1 free parking reward or physical coupon from this parking promotion can be used per exit to off-set the parking charges. Multiple parking rewards or coupons from the same promotion cannot be used to off-set parking charges per exit from the car park. 

  • The parking reward is valid for cars only and are not valid for motorcycles. 

  • All purchases made at participating outlets (including takeaways for F&B outlets) in the public areas of Changi Airport that meets the qualifying requirements are eligible for the redemption of the parking rewards.

  • The parking reward is not exchangeable for cash and the value cannot be refunded in part if it is not fully utilized. 

  • No claims will be entertained for parking rewards/carpark coupons that are expired, unutilized, lost, torn, defaced or damaged. 

  • CAG reserves the right to, without any liability to the Customers and at its absolute discretion and without prior notice, amend, modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the Parking Promotion, or vary these T&Cs, from time to time for any reason whatsoever. CAG may notify the Customers of such changes by publishing the revised T&Cs at https://www.changiairport.com/parkingpromo or by such other means of communication as CAG may determine in its absolute discretion from time to time. Customers shall not be entitled to any damages or compensation whatsoever or howsoever arising as a result of such modification or cancellation of the Parking Promotion, or such variation of the T&Cs. 

  • CAG participating retail and F&B tenants and CAG’s appointed agency, P-Serv Pte Ltd are not eligible to participate in this promotion. The management reserves the right to disqualify any member of the promotion and change the Terms and Conditions as it deems fit, without prior notice. Should any dispute arise, all decisions made by CAG will be final and no correspondence will be entertained. 

  • CAG and its authorized agencies will not be liable for any injury, damage or loss arising out of or in connection with the promotion, and each participant agrees to indemnify and hold CAG harmless from and against any and all claims, loss or damages incurred by the participant or by any other party that is in relation to the promotion.

1.        If I have 2 different receipts with valid qualifying spend, will I be entitled to redeem 2 parking rewards? 

No. Customers are entitled to redeem one (1) 2-hour free parking rewards per Changi Rewards member per receipt per day if they meet the qualifying receipt, regardless of amount spent in excess of the Minimum Spend Requirement or with multiple receipts. Parking rewards will be issued to customers’ CarPass accounts via Changi app on a first-come-first served basis during the promotion period.

 

2.       I have parked my vehicle at Terminal 1/Jewel but dined at Terminal 4. Will I be able to redeem the free parking reward? 

Yes, if the qualifying spend per reciept is met at Terminal 4. The parking reward will be issued via CarPass on the Changi App and will be stored in your registered IU. The parking reward can be used at Terminal 1/Jewel General Car Park (B3 - B5). 

 

3.       I have spent at Jewel Changi Airport/ Changi Airport T1 - T3, will I be entitled to the 2 hours free parking at T1/Jewel, T2, T3 and T3 Carparks? 

No, your receipt from Jewel Changi Airport is not eligible for redemption of 2 hours free parking at Changi Airport T1-T4 carparks. Please approach designated redemption counters in Jewel for assistance on promotions and redemptions for Jewel.   

 

4.       Is there an expiry for the free parking reward I have redeemed? 

The free parking rewards must be redeemed within the day of transaction. The free parking rewards must be used by 2359hr the next day from day of issuance. Any request for extension will not be entertained.

 

5.       Am I allowed to redeem my exclusive 1 - 2 hours free parking as a Gold/Platinum Changi Rewards member on top of the 2 hours free parking promotion? 

Yes, the redemption is stackable and the amount will be deducted accordingly.

 

6.      Can I combine Jewel Changi Airport and Changi Airport T4 Public Area receipt to redeem 2 hours free parking? 

No, redemption of Changi Airport 2 hours free parking reward requires a min. spend of S$35 by Mastercard® in a single same day receipt in Changi Airport Terminal 1 to 4 Public Area only. 

 

7.       If I fail to redeem my parking reward via CarPass, what should I do? 

Shoppers may proceed to

  • T1 Departure Hall Information Counter (open 24 hrs, daily)
  • T2 Arrival Hall Information Counter (open 24 hrs, daily)
  • T3 Arrival Hall Information Counter (open 24 hrs, daily)
  • T3 Basement 2 Customer Service Counter (opposite FairPrice Finest, open 10:00 AM–10.30 PM, daily)
  • T4 Departure Hall (check-in row 4) (open 24 hrs, daily) 
  • T4 Arrival Hall (opposite LiHO) (open 24 hrs, daily) 

 

8.      Can I keep my receipt and use it another day?

No, the redemption of the 2 hours free parking reward must be used on the same day of the qualifying transaction.
